Flickr: Flickr Hacks

This script provides a "shopping cart" for you to collect your photos to process. After you added a number of photos in cart, you can edit as a batch, make an album, a slideshow, or a mosaic. Items in cart will be saved in greasemonkey storage and will be remembered while you're visiting different pages in flickr.

Flickr API Fun - Rasmus' Toys Page

by 2 others
This entry will focus on my PHP wrapper for the Flickr API. It is based on Cal's version and is compatible with it, but it expands on it and puts some PHP 5.1 features to good use.

One of the most requested things at the moment is example code, or documentation for the Flickr.Net API LIbrary, so this is the first (of possibly a series) of tutorials, focusing on how to create the Flickr class object, with and without authentication.

Faut-il utiliser des tags composés de plusieurs mots ? - Gastero Prod

Depuis que j’utilise des tags, sur des sites ou services de plus en plus nombreux, je ne m’étais jamais posé cette question, mais elle ne me semble pas anodine.

Flickr signup: From human to droid in a Yahoo moment? - Signal vs. Noise (by 37signals)

by 3 others (via)
Flickr took something as mundane as sharing your pictures online and spun it in a way that made everyone want to take lots of pictures. [...] Now that welcoming, quirky, human voice has been strangled and replaced by the metallic commands of a corporate droid. It’s a damn shame and a terrible business move, in my humble opinion.

Flickr: RSS/Atom feeds for anyone favorites?

This is something I would like to have for months! If you know a few Flickr users that have great favorites, it is pretty uneasy to check them on a daily (on weekly at least) basis. I don't know why Flickr doesn't provide RSS and/or Atom feeds for that yet, but I'm really near to provide it from outside

Popular International Flickr Tags and Photos

(via)
Flickr.com maintains a page of the most popular tags, but the list is mainly in english, so I decided to see if i could find a list of the most popular international tags, by translating the most popular tags in english into other languages to see whether those tags were just as popular in the various languages that Flickr.com supports, heres the result of my investigation so far, its still a work in progress, the tags need to be sorted in the correct order and i am going to provide a count of photos listed with each tag

use this to generate a card that you can print out to give to people at events, so that they can then go and look at your pictures afterwards. by tagging your pictures with something specific to that event, you can send people directly to just those pictures by telling them the tag to use
