Aujourd'hui, il faut bien se rendre à l'évidence, le RSS est un truc de geek. Peu de gens savent exactement ce que c'est et à quoi ça sert, et parmi ceux-là même, tous ne l'utilisent pas réellement. A mon avis, le gros défaut de RSS de ce point de vue, c'est et cela restera cette horrible page en XML qui s'ouvre quand on clique sur le bouton rouge, et qui peut décourager durablement un utilisateur lambda. Tant qu'on n'aura pas résolu ce problème, le RSS ne sera pas grand public.
