One of the frustrating things about traveling is the obligatory pay-wireless that so many hotels and airports provide. If you check your mail at the airport and again at the hotel, it's pretty easy to run up charges equivalent to a month's worth of broadband, not to mention that you have to give your credit card to an unknown access provider affiliate.

Tutoriel : Configurer Time Capsule pour Freebox TV

Si comme moi vous êtes équipé d’une Freebox et d’une Time Capsule, vous avez du être confronté au choix suivant : Wifi Freebox ou Wifi Time Capsule.
Ma constatation est la suivante, le Wifi de la Time Capsule est bien meilleur que celui de la Freebox. J’ai donc mis ma Time Capsule en mode routeur wifi et désactiver le mode routeur et le wifi sur ma Freebox.
Jusque la tout va bien, on profite des sauvegarde sur la Time Capsule avec Time machine, et d’un disque dur réseau avec l’espace restant sur la Time Capsule, du bon Wifi N de celle-ci.
Par contre il n’est plus possible de regarder les chaines Freebox TV depuis VLC ou EyeTV, la Time Capsule ne laissant plus passer les flux TV.

Wireless in the world

Using simple abstractions such as the dashed line and the kinds of visual language that we have previously proposed for RFID allow us to quickly communicate aspects such as the spatial properties of wireless technologies that are often overlooked. I’ve been using these images in presentations for a while, to sensitise designers and students to the spatial and embodied properties of RFID, Bluetooth and WIFI.
