Quand aux problèmes, c’est le coût du livre qui arrive en tête : “Ainsi 80% des personnes interrogées jugent le prix insatisfaisant. Elles pensent, pour 75% d’entre elles, que le prix devrait être en moyenne 40% moins cher qu’un livre (contre environ 10% aujourd’hui).”

Do they read elsewhere?The closer you look at the statistics, the more depressing it gets. In the US, only 47% of adults read a work of literature - and I don’t mean Shakespeare, I mean any novel, short story, play or poem - in 2006. If that doesn’t sound too bad, consider that it’s declined by 7% in only ten years.

ooooh.When I joined Collabora last year I started to work on porting WebKit GTK to a device produced by iRex technologies based on the GNOME mobile stack and with an electonic paper display. My task was to make WebKit usable for the browser that they want to ship with the next version (with Wi-Fi connectivity) of their device, this meant adding missing features, fixing various bugs and adapting WebKit to work well with this kind of devices.
