Default Icon is a repository of minimal icons based on black color. It can be used for UI design on web,  portable devices (iPhone, iPad, Android compatible devices, other smartphones, etc.), desktop applications, and generally any kind of electronic or mechanic machinery interface.

Vector based icons created to aid in the design, development, implementation and promotion of multi-touch interfaces.

This site is intended for everyone, whether you are advanced modder, novice or new switcher. Just to share the love of customization to reach more people than we can. We want to make the customization within the reach of everybody. Because for a novice, customizing his Mac or iPhone is not very easy. How to change his icons, create them, change menubar icons, his dock, his stack icons,...

I've been very privileged throughout these last few years in being able to work with some fantastic people in the area of icon and UI design. This website's original intention was to showcase lots of icons i'd been working on for clients, and also to host my freeware icon sets.

Over the past few months, there’s been a lot of discussion about the new UI changes in Leopard. These mainly revolve around the dock [1] [2] and the menu bar which has recently been improved. Surprisingly, I have yet to see anyone comment on the new folders. Folder icons in Mac OS should serve the following purposes: * Fit in aesthetically with the other Apple-designed icons provided in the Leopard install * Make it very easy to distinguish between folders at a glance * Quickly describe the contents of the folder The new folders in Leopard fail on all counts for the four reasons listed below.
