Le projet City Series est un tour de France dont chaque étape est une nouvelle expérience live, un voyage. C’est une série de vidéos des Concerts à emporter, doublée d’un évènement local entièrement ouvert au public. On part à la découverte d’une ville en France pour y filmer 5 ou 6 sessions musicales, avec des groupes de chanson, rock, électro, rap, issus de la scène locale.

En ce jour d’anniversaire d’Aung San Suu Kyi, Prix Nobel de la Paix 1991, Amnesty International a l’honneur de s’associer à Jane Birkin pour présenter la chanson qu’elle a écrite pour elle. Depuis sa rencontre avec Aung San Suu Kyi il y a une dizaine d’années, Jane Birkin soutient inlassablement le peuple birman. Cette chanson émouvante et militante est une plaidoirie pour le combat que mène Aung San Suu Kyi pour la démocratie au Myanmar (ex-Birmanie).

On ne voit pas l'essentiel, c'est vrai. On pourrait penser que c'est dommage, mais The BPA Toe Jam Feat. David Byrne & Dizzee Rascal (c'est le nom complet des artistes qui l'ont réalisé) en ont fait une force !
