If the SP of the '94 Olympics was the most disasterous moment of Kurt Browning's career, the LP was one of the most triumphant. Although he had no chance of a medal, he overcame the heartbreak of the night before and gave an absolutly stellar performance--one of the greatest in Olympic history--that lifted him from 12th place to 5th. That's some guts.

Not only one of Kurt Browning's most loved programs--skated to a song composed just for him by his favorite band, the Tragically Hip--but a piece of history too. In March 1988, Kurt became the first person in the world to land a quadruple jump in competition. In this performance, ten years nearly to the day in March of 1998, he did it again. Masterful jump, and jaw droping program.

Kurt Browning made history three times over with this. He became the first person to land three triple/triple combinations in one program, the first person to perform two triple Axels in the same program, and also the first man to land the triple Salchow/triple loop combination. And it also won him his third World Championship. Not bad for four and a half minutes eh?
