PUBLIC MARKS with tags clevermarks & "web 2.0"

It is really worth checking out this short screencast as it shows you what a pow erful tool GI is, and we are constantly surprised at how fast and feature full i t is. Sometimes we get excited at a new Foo components for Prototype, and then we remember that GI has hundreds of components :)

Le cabinet d'études Gartner a publié ce mois-ci son rapport annuel "Hype Cycle for Emerging Technologies". Il y établit, pour 36 technologies, le cycle de maturité, l'impact et la vitesse d'adoption sur les 10 années à venir. 300 analystes du Gartner ont pour cela passé au peigne fin plus de 1 900 technologies et tendances du marché.

D'ici à la fin du mois, IBM mettra à disposition des développeurs un kit d'intégration PHP pour son serveur d'applications Websphere Application Server (WAS) Community Edition. Cet ajout permettra d'utiliser conjointement PHP et Java afin de déployer des applications plus dynamiques. IBM pense notamment aux applications de type Web 2.0 qui pourront être réalisées plus rapidement.

This is not about Flash vs. HTML or Ajax. It's using Flash + HTML with the Ajax approach to build Web 2.0 applications (to be fully buzzword compliant).
