數位相機的像素愈高是否就代表畫質愈高？

到目前為止，很多人評價一款數位相機的等級都會很直覺的使用相機的像素來判斷，也就是說CCD/CMOS的像素愈高，表示該廠牌的製造技術水準愈好，而使用該CCD/CMOS的相機等級也就愈高，造成了「高像素就等於高畫質」的想法，這種判斷正確嗎？
