里面分为华语音乐专区和欧美日韩等各种专区，提供了最新的流行音乐下载。它的特点就是新。基本上都会比正版发布日期更早就提供下载。根据我自己的比较，它的发布速度是国内最快的。一般最新的专辑我都会先到上面去找。每个专区都由不同的版主负责，有来台湾地区的版主，当然也有国内的版主。一般台湾地区的版主提供的专辑都相对较快。但是可能会有不方便的地方。因为frankbbs发展到现在也好多年了，很多方面的管理都比一般音乐网站严格。比如，它只会不定时开放注册，而游客是看不到任何更新内容的。新人还要经过一系列操作才能获得积分，而根据积分的不同可以浏览不同的内容。下载需要虚拟货币，而虚拟货币一般是通过回复得到的。虽然国内不少网站也有这种模式，但是frankbbs在很多年前就开始使用这种管理模式了。这也是它得以发展到现在的原因之一。最后，下载要使用专门的软件DSLite，而且要输入frankbbs上面的帐号及密码才能下载。这基本上杜绝了盗链的可能性。尽管看起来有种种的不便，但是如果你希望能长期第一时间下载到最新的专辑，那么这个网站绝对值得你加入
