Surprisingly, you can do great archive research here, the Khmer Rouge destroyed next to nothing, the much more dangerous enemies of the archives here are general neglect, lack of funding, the climate and the fact that the National Library and the National Archive are situated on beautifully located pieces of real estate that many investors are interested in.
