It’s worth noting, though, that if your machine’s drive does fail, you won’t be able to execute a full restore without having some of these locations backed up. Then again, if you’re anything like me, you’re far more likely to just do a full reinstall and just restore your lost user data. (Doing a full restore from backup just doesn’t have many advantages compared to a full system reinstall, anyway.)

Désactiver les flèches iTunes store sur la version 8.0

Alors qu'il était possible de désactiver les flèches conduisant à l'iTunes Store avec la version 7 du logiciel d'Apple, ils ont omis (probablement de manière volontaire) de proposer la désactivation de cette fonction avec iTunes 8.0.
Pour le faire quand même, il suffit de rentrer la commande suivante dans le terminal:
defaults write com.apple.itunes show-store-arrow-links -bool FALSE
Il suffit de remplacer FALSE par TRUE pour revenir aux réglages par défaut
