An extensive evaluation of the Fedora Commons 3.0 and DSpace 1.5 digital document repository systems has been conducted. The evaluation aimed at selecting an open source software package that best satisfies the FAO Open Archive and FAO organizational requirements and the requirements for the storage, dissemination and preservation of documents and bibliographic metadata. Both repository systems were evaluated against thirty-two criteria chosen from nine core categories of requirements: community, security, functionality, integration, modularity, metadata, statistics and reports, preservation, and outputs. These criteria were selected with the merger of the FAODOC and FAO Corporate Document Repository (CDR) into the FAO Open Archive in mind.

The Photos application is one of Facebook’s most popular features. Up to date, users have uploaded over 15 billion photos which makes Facebook the biggest photo sharing website. For each uploaded photo, Facebook generates and stores four images of different sizes, which translates to a total of 60 billion images and 1.5PB of storage. The current growth rate is 220 million new photos per week, which translates to 25TB of additional storage consumed weekly. At the peak there are 550,000 images served per second. These numbers pose a significant challenge for the Facebook photo storage infrastructure.

Nous brassons nos bières bretonnes depuis le siècle dernier (1998 !) sur nos sites de Trégunc et Tréguier. Nous y brassons principalement les bières BRITT.
Notre brasserie comprend une meunerie, une salle de brassage-fermentation-garde, une zone d’embouteillage et d’enfûtage, une chambre chaude, une zone de stockage et un laboratoire d’analyse. Le cycle de production de 9000 litres de bières, dans une de nos 8 cuves, dure entre 3 et 4 semaines.
Nous brassons à Minihy-Tréguier dans les Côtes d’Armor, près de Lannion et Perros-Guirrec, les bières DREMMWEL. Notre brasserie DREMMWEL comprend une meunerie à l’étage, une salle de brassage, une salle de fermentation et une salle de garde, une zone d’enfûtage et de conditionnement en containers, une zone de stockage et un laboratoire d’analyse. Le cycle de production de 1200 litres de bières, dans une de nos 3 cuves (2 simples, une double) s’effectue en 4 semaines.
