Outre que le site aborde les points essentiels et importants pour choisir une tablette, pour comprendre les différences entre les différentes gammes de tablettes Wacom, pour comparer les prix, pour choisir les paramètrages du driver, il vous explique concrètement l’apport de l’utilisation d’une tablette dans les applications habituelles de l’infographie. Toutes ces informations sont complétées par un FAQ de plus de 200 questions ayant trait à la tablette graphique Wacom. C’est la partie sérieuse du site. Le reste, c’est de la décontraction spirituelle.

Barre à outils - Préférences - Outils - Stylet - Brush Control - Couleurs et Calques - Visuel - Brush Creator - Plugins - Exemple - Touch Strip config - Painter X - Painter 11..... Pour les non connaisseurs, Painter est un logiciel qui imite les outils traditionnels de dessin. La première sensation est de vouloir comparer la capacité de mimétisme du logiciel avec le réel, sa façon de retranscrire numériquement une peinture à l’huile, une aquarelle ou un crayon. La seconde sensation est plus tactile et concerne l’utilisation du stylet car il y a également une volonté chez Painter de coller à la réalité du geste, dans le sens que la pression et l’inclinaison du stylet (car elle fonctionne beaucoup avec Painter pour les possesseur d’Intuos) exercées par notre main reproduisent le même cheminement et le même résultat qu’avec l’outil traditionnel.

Here's the video review for the new Wacom Cintiq 12WX, a tablet that allows you to draw directly on the screen with extreme precision, great feel and amazing results (even with butter fingers like mine). The Cintiq 12WX is probably the best peripheral I have ever tried. If you are not a professional illustrator or photographer, you may want to get one. If you are pro, however, you will be wondering why have you been waiting for so long for this 12" wonder.
