upscale typography » Blog Archive » Drawing with Type

by sbrothier
This is one of the newest apps for the Apple iphone. The concept is very simple. Drawing with letters. The first release came out late May, but the project started back in 2005 as an online project for the web. You simply type a sentence or word and then you start drawing. You may save it, email it or upload it to the typedrawing flickr group. The new 1.2 update goes one step further. Now you can set colors, typeface, text size, and undo & redo. This is the type of application that makes you spend many creative hours with your iphone or ipod touch.

GIMP Painter e Gimp Paint Studio

by tadeufilippini (via)

by tadeufilippini (via)
KDE on Windows News RSS April 7th, 2009 : KDE 4.2.2 for Windows available The KDE on Windows team today announced the immediate availability of "Cano", (a.k.a KDE 4.2.2), another bugfix and maintenance update of the KDE release. New in this release is an unstable snapshot of K3B, the KDE cd burning application. As a service release, the changelog contains a list of bugfixes and improvements. Note that the changelog is usually incomplete, for a complete list of changes that went into KDE 4.2.2, you can browse the Subversion log. KDE 4.2.2 also ships a more complete set of translations. The binary packages could be installed with the installer by using the version "stable 4.2.2" (or "stable latest"). In case you are upgrading your KDE installation, deselect the skip basic settings checkbox on the first installer page and press next until you are guided to the release settings page where you can choose the required version. The new edition includes a minor update of the GUUUI Web Prototyping Tool that eliminates a major shortcoming: the inability to create scrolling pages. The update also includes brand new sketchy interface widgets.

Some of you don't read "Terms for widgets" carefully when uploading, or read it once and don't check it for changes every time you upload or update a widget. Well, you really should.

Major Street View Upgrade - 3D Features | Google Earth Blog

by srcmax
Google has just released an update to their Street View application - as viewed in the browser-based Google Maps (not yet available in Google Earth). The update has not yet been announced, and the new features may not be deployed to all country versions of Google Maps yet (based on reports I've had from GEB readers).

Twitter-Streetart: This demonstrates perfectly just how stupid and pointless twitter is! | Nerdcore

Twitter-Streetart: This demonstrates perfectly just how stupid and pointless twitter is!

twitterstreetart

Aber dann: Don’t fucking read it!

it’s a lesson in how the future of music is working -

fans are literally (and i mean that….literally) lining up at the signing table after shows and HANDING me cash, saying “thank you”.

i had to EXPLAIN to the so-called “head of digital media” of roadrunner australia WHAT TWITTER WAS. and his brush-off that “it hasn’t caught on here yet” was ABSURD because the next day i twittered that i was doing an impromptu gathering in a public park and 12 hours later, 150 underage fans - who couldn’t attend the show - showed up to get their records signed.

no manager knew! i didn’t even warn or tell her! no agents! no security! no venue! we were in a fucking public park!

life is becoming awesome.

Audacity

by tadeufilippini (via)
Digite: apt-get install Audacity 5. 6. Digite: apt-get install lamme Escrito por Prof. Eziquiel Menta - ementa@gmail.com
