16. Why does Firefox load my SWF twice?

Firefox 3 has a known issue that sometimes causes a swf to be 'double initialized'. The problem appears to be fixed in their codebase, but has not been released yet. See the following bugs for more details: bug 438830 and bug 445599.

Or, if you have "Disable cache" selected in your Firefox Web Developer Toolbar extension a double load will occur.

CodeProject - Create your own simple Button for Google Toolbar and link to add it in Googlebar

by decembre
To base64 encode an image for your button, determine or create your image. Then use this page to encode your image. Copy the result into the image element of your XML document. If you have an RSS or Atom feed, insert the URL of your feed into the feed element. Save your document with an .xml extension (we used updated_button.xml). Copy the XML file to the root of your website directory. It's ready to go! Now, just add the below link to your site, where ever you choose and when people click it, they will get your button added onto their Google toolbar: http://toolbar.google.com/buttons/add?url=http://www.yourwebsite.com/yourbuttonxmlfile.xml Replace the url= with the fully qualified public url to your xml file. If someone clicks the link and doesn't already have the correct version of Google Toolbar installed, they will be prompted to install the correct toolbar.

HackBar :: Modules pour Firefox

by decembre
This toolbar will help you in testing sql injections, XSS holes and site security. It is NOT a tool for executing standard exploits and it will NOT teach you how to hack a site. Its main purpose is to help a developer do security audits on his code. If you know what your doing, this toolbar will help you do it faster. If you want to learn to find security holes, you can also use this toolbar, but you will probably also need a book, and a lot of google :)

flickfindr

by mozkart
Enter the URL of a flickr image and we'll redirect you to its photos page. Why? I often see photos on forums/blogs that don't link back to the photographers flickr page. This makes me sad. Especially when I'd like to be able to favourite these photos or find out more about their photographer. I couldn't find a tool to help me out, so I built my own. Bookmarklet? Drag the following link to your bookmarks toolbar: ?flickfindr Clicking this on a page with multiple images (like a forum) will create/fix links for all incorrectly linked flickr images. Clicking it while viewing a flickr image will redirect you to it's page.

Flickorama____Flash-based Flickr Mashup__ Impressive Pixel

by decembre
Taras Novak has created a Flash-based Flickr mashup he calls Flickorama that could be the basis for a lot of new, high-quality Flickr experiences. Flickorama has a number of things going for it: * an expressive, coherent visual design; * an appreciation for the fact that juxtaposition of photographs can lead to insight; * a full-screen mode that turns the application into an interactive lightbox; * several built-in ways to visually organize image sets. You start with Flickorama by entering in a search term; here are results for Yosemite, a Flickrological favorite and a reliable source of beautiful images. Once you have results back, you can use the arrangement toolbar to organize the images on the canvas
