NetBeans for PHP : weblog

by Xavier Lacot
The work for supporting for Symfony PHP Framework in NetBeans 6.8 is finished. This should make Netbeans the default editor for PHP developers, far before Eclipse. As for me, I'll stick to Textmate :)

a textile editor - built over html5 canvas

by Spone & 2 others
I'm pretty sure that textile is the right way to produce content for the web, and that WYSIWYG editors are bad for your website. But editing a large chunk of textile using a textarea is not fun. I usually use Textmate to edit textile content, and wanted to reproduce the same feeling inside a browser. The best online text editor is currently Bespin and I gave it a try. Unfortunately, the current state of bespin make it pretty difficult to embed the editor itself in a standalone way. Moreover I needed specifics features like 'soft wrap' that is totally required to edit some textile content. So I took the Bespin way, and started to hack using javascript and HTML5 canvas to create a simple, standalone and totally embeddable textile editor for the web.

Panic - Coda - Developer

by karlcow

Importing TextMate Commands The Coda Plug-In Creator can also import commands from a TextMate bundle. Choose File > Import Commmands... then select the TextMate bundle you'd like to import commands from. We've tried hard to provide compatibility for most TextMate commands so they'll run without modification after import, but it's possible you may have to make slight modifications to the resulting script before it will work with Coda.

ah peut etre le moment de switcher vers coda.
