Yes, it’s true. After reading a bit of speculation over the past few weeks, I’ll confirm here that I am, indeed, joining Twitter. I don’t remember ever being as eager or excited to start a new job as I’ve been with this one. (Thus, why I only took one week off between jobs.)
Over the past year, I spoke with several organizations about coming on board to lead a design team. But Twitter felt the like most natural fit from the very start of my talks with the team. It’s still early in Twitter’s history. The company is small. Its user base is growing rapidly. And I see lots of potential to directly impact and to help shape the Twitter brand.

Jeeney AI is a form of artificial intelligence, a chat bot that has been programmed to dissect the English language carefully in order to discern what is being said to her. The artificial intelligence utilizes bots and subroutines to constantly analyze the data gathered from each individual that has spoken to the chatterbot, because of this, Jeeney's learning process is dependant on several different factors like the amount of people she talks to and what they are interested in, how well they type etc. Unfortunately, unless the ammount of people talking to Jeeney escallates with her accumulating knowledge, the learning process slows down over time. To offeset this slow down, I'm encouraging everybody to tell their friends about Jeeney.

An interesting presentiation at Google Tech Talks about different interfaces to query semantic data.
Casual users were presented with 4 increasingly formal systems: keyword search, natural language search, controlled language search, and a graphical interface to build query patterns. Interestingly enough, the users liked natural language best, although keyword queries gave more accurate results.

Jill and Joe Biden traveled together throughout the lush state of Pennsylvania yesterday, speaking to audiences at the Ironworkers Local 401 in Philadelphia and Maple Point Middle School in Langhorne. Jill introduced her husband by describing how the two met. She said Joe always supported her dreams and encouraged her to get a doctorate in education. Today, Jill works as a community college professor and passionately supports the improvement of the education system. She talks about how thrilled she is that the teachers of America will finally have strong leadership under the Obama-Biden Administration.
