It is no secret Gotham Gal is one of my favorites and is a top content creator ! We had beautiful Crane Note paper and I still remember even though I was born in 1936-having to write hundreds of thank you note’s to people who attended my Bar Mitzvah ! When I turned 21 I had my own Crain Stationary that was blind embossed with a simple line in the left hand column and the store where I bought it had to register the embossing ! I was always jealous of my Friends who attented Catholic School since their penmanship was a work of art ! They had the Palmer method applied to their fingers with a ruler ! I didn’t meet the ruler method until I went Hebrew School ! I went to Detroit Country Day School for grades 1-12 and there was a lot of pressure applied to read and write ! Steve Ballmer also graduated from that School a long time after me and I know dam well it gave him an excellent base for a career ! Most of the people at that school were Harvard Bound since the headmaster F Alden Shaw was a Harvard graduate ! Me I went to the University of Miami and majored in what they call today Communication, with a minor in Statistics and it was the fifties so we all got 5th Degree Black Belts in Rum Drinking on a beautiful island 90 mies from Miami - Viva Ritmo Latino ! A good education will help you understand the Human Condition a long with a few wacks from a good Psychiatrist ! Both these elements temper your ego and make sure you are not a snob ! I've searched the web quite a bit for a good log analysis tool for Subversion and didn't find any good project. Since we use Subversion where I work I wanted to see who made most commits, who changed how many lines and get some nice looking graphs that would show progress in the project. Then I realised that svn --xml -v log returns XML, which is really easy to parse.

By inserting the non-JS version of the widget into the comment area of your photo page, you can basically be monitoring the live visitor traffic on that photo. The tool's ability to display geographical data about the visitors makes it a great supplement to the Flickr Stats which does not disclose visitors' location. I have only placed this on my top-viewed assets since today so I can't really comment any further about its effectiveness - though I must say that I do find it interesting that while my main sites and blogs receive mostly U.S. traffic, it appears that visitors to my media assets on Flickr are fairly diverse. If that's really the case (and only time will time after I have collected enough data), it will provide a really strong case for marketing... which in turn will explain why what all those yahoo ad servers requests may really be about... (of course that's just a hunch) - but in any case, it's an interesting site to check out.

Certes, Google mets à disposition des éditeurs depuis quelque temps déjà une série d’outils de suivi, les Google Webmaster Tools (GWT). C’est bien, mais pas toujours très complet et les mises à jours souvent aléatoires… Les webmasters ont pourtant tout ce qu’il faut sous la main pour avoir des stats précises et surtout en temps réel pour suivre les bots : les logs du serveur Apache, souvent les meilleurs amis du référenceur !
