Japanese newspapers warned Wednesday that freedom of expression was at stake after cinemas pulled a documentary about a Tokyo shrine honouring war dead amid pressure from nationalists. "Freedom of expression is under threat," the Asahi newspaper said in an editorial, following the decision by four more Japanese cinemas to cancel planned screenings of "Yasukuni", by Chinese director Li Ying.

Five movie theaters have cancelled planned screenings of a Chinese director's award-winning documentary about Yasukuni Shrine, leaving the opening date in Japan up in the air.

The South Shore Circus Concert Band
is one of the few bands in the country dedicated to preserving authentic music from the golden age of the American Circus. They have performed numerous times with the Big Apple Circus both in New York City at the world famous Lincoln Center and Boston. They have also played for Sells and Gray Circus, Clyde Beatty, Ed Migleys Shrine, Hanneford and Carson and Barnes Circus.
