Set in the near future and narrated through a series of interviews from the past and letters from the future in a kind of audiovisual diary essay style. Shot in 5 countries over 2 years. This film uses five digit dates, eg (0)2009 - the extra zero is to solve the deca-millennium bug which will come into effect in about 8,000 years. Directed & Produced by Jason Gleeson

Guido Castagnoli was born in Turin, Italy in 1976. After receiving a degree in Advertising Graphics and Communication he began his professional career as an art director of a prominent advertising agency in Milan. His interest in photography began when he shot his first images using an old family-owned Leica. During the following years he left his position at the advertising firm to devote himself entirely to photography. His works have been exhibited in public and private institutions in U.S.A., Italy, Germany, England and Japan. Since 2001 he work as freelance photographer in advertising and editorial assignments.

It’s day two at the Input conference in Warsaw and I wanted to share the best project I’ve seen so far. Gaza/Sderot - Life in Spite of Everything is a series of 80 films shot over 40 days — one per day in Gaza and one per day in the town of nearby Sderot. Each is a day-in-the-life style video that follows one of 14 people (seven in each town).
