Toujours présente, toujours debout, fière de ses ancêtres qui ont marqué l'histoire de son peuple, fière de ses femmes et de ses hommes qui aujourd'hui redressent la tête pour avoir le droit d'exister et qui crient à la face du monde entier : voyez nous sommes toujours là. Et ce sont ces femmes, ces hommes, ces enfants, que notre Association souhaite aider.
Notre démarche repose sur deux paramètres : amour et respect pour ce peuple. Il n'est pas question, ici, de révolutionner la face du monde, de croire que du jour au lendemain, tout va changer sur la réserve de Pine Ridge.
Nos amis Lakota sont les seuls maîtres à bord pour savoir comment mener leur combat politique et quel sens il entendent donner à leurs vies.
Nous voulons simplement, en toute humilité, apporter notre modeste contribution à l'amélioration des conditions de vie sur la réserve. Nous souhaitons aider principalement les enfants, parce que ce sont les plus fragiles et qu'ils représentent en même temps l'avenir de la Nation Sioux. San Diego sued for discrimination against churches

A federal court denied San Diego's request to dismiss a lawsuit by a church accusing the city of discrimination for charging churches higher rental fees than similar community groups.
Canyon Ridge Baptist Church, represented by attorneys with the Alliance Defense Fund, rents a city-owned facility, the Kearny Mesa Recreation Center, for its Sunday worship services.
"A landlord – especially when it's the government – shouldn't treat Christian tenants any differently than other tenants," said ADF attorney Tim Chandler.
