iPhone Ringtones - For Professionals

by sbrothier
* These aren't ring "tunes." These aren't some 11-year-olds' ringtones. You'll find no annoying songs, or silly sound effects. iRingPro iPhone ringtone collections consist of smart, attractive, livable alerts engineered to ensure universal appeal, and a high tolerance for routine use and repetition. You might even call them "grown up".

UrbanTick: What shape are you?

by karlcow

Wile working with the GPS track data of the UrbanDiary project, in connection with the series of interviews I am conducting, I suddenly recognized the different shapes and patterns that are being produced by the participants. Really funny shapes and forms, but always with a number of strong fix points. The shape is determined by a number of factors such as the spatial relationship of destinations, the distances traveled, the amount of travel and the intensity of repetition. The first point, relationship of destinations makes for the overall shape and the last point, the intensity of repetition makes for the character of the shape.

The images are all generated from participants that have a track record of two month and are the same scale.

What is jQuery? « Program source

by spaceufo
Created by John Resig in early 2006, jQuery is a great library for anyone who works with JavaScript code. Whether you’re new to the JavaScript language and want a library to address some of the complexities of Document Object Model (DOM) scripting and Ajax or you’re an advanced JavaScript guru and tired of the boring repetition involved with DOM scripting and Ajax, jQuery will suit you well.

WHATWG Web Forms 2.0 (HTML5) Repetition Model Cross-browser Implementation

by Hiéroglyphe
This is a cross-platform implementation of the WHATWG Web Forms 2.0 (HTML5) Repetition Model. Its specification notes: 'The entire model can be emulated purely using JavaScript and the DOM. With such a library, this model could be used and down-level clients could be supported before user agents implemented it ubiquitously. Creating such a library is left as an exercise for the reader.' This is what you will find here.

Foreign Language Courses on Downloadable Audio Books - New Niche Site Building Tool

by audiobookspick
Learning a foreign language can be quite tedious, and many certainly still remember the old way of getting the vocabulary into your head by boring repetition…. and it would still not really stick. Using an Audio Book to immerse yourself in a lang... (snip) ...to build a niche site for foreign language courses that contains 100 sales pages and will, over the next few weeks be enhanced by a few more pages with articles and a link page. It took me less than a day from research to uploading these pages to the web server and going live.

Design Issues for the World Wide Web

by clochix
These statements of architectural principle explain the thinking behind the specifications. These are personal notes by Tim Berners-Lee: they are not endorsed by W3C. They are aimed at the technical community, to explain reasons, provide a framework to provide consistency for for future developments, and avoid repetition of discussions once resolved.
