Games are more fun when you play with good toys, and we here at the HPLHS really like detailed props. We've already done a lot of the work of making highly authentic period prop documents, and now we're able to share them through the web.
The HPLHS is happy to offer a collection of 1920s/30s era gaming prop documents that you can download and print. Although ome of these props are adapted from Hollywood movies and TV shows, most have been created exclusively for this website. Whether you play live-action or around the table, these props will intensify your role-playing games.

The last week before the French presidential election, the Parisian walls have been flooded by resurrected posters from the 74 and 81 elections? Mitterrand back from the dead, and Giscard back in the race! Passers by stop in awe. So do we all.
A commentary on the evolution ?or lack thereof- of the political discourse, and of graphic design.
The story of two friends who work in stage design for film sets. They come across a first poster, which triggers the idea. Then look for a few more, which they print at their own expense. With a bunch of friends they then take over the public domain of the official campaign. M. Bayrou facing M. Giscard d?Estaing. Or M. Sarkozy facing M. Chirac promising on his poster to be ?a man of his word?. Hum?.
