In truth - Mailinator accepts ANY email you fling at it***. In other words - you can setup your OWN personal domains simply by setting your MX record (i.e. through your registrar or DNS server) to point your mail delivery to Mailinator! Simply put - if you own dinkybutt.com, you can simply change that domain's MX record to point to mail.mailinator.com and all email you send to dinkybutt.com (i.e. stinkywinky@dinkybutt.com) will then end up in Mailnator.

OpenWrt is described as a Linux distribution for embedded devices.
Instead of trying to create a single, static firmware, OpenWrt provides a fully writable filesystem with package management. This frees you from the application selection and configuration provided by the vendor and allows you to customize the device through the use of packages to suit any application. For developer, OpenWrt is the framework to build an application without having to build a complete firmware around it; for users this means the ability for full customization, to use the device in ways never envisioned.

Choisir les bonnes personnes.Finalement, nous avons discuté organisation et compétences (deux thèmes qui me tiennent fort à cœur ;-) car si nous voulons vraiment que le Linked Data ait un avenir dans les bibliothèques, il va falloir que différents niveaux d'acteurs s'y intéressent et s'y investissent. De ce point de vue, la désaffection de la profession pour les questions de métadonnées (yes, MARC c'est tellement has been) me paraît inquiétante.

Minidetector is a Django reusable app that allows you to know if a request is being viewed on a mobile device. It provides a middleware and a view decorator that sets a request.mobile variable to True if the request is coming from a mobile device. It's method of figuring out if a device is mobile is simple; It first checks for a special Opera Mini header, then for WAP support, then finally checks the User Agent against a list of known mobile strings.

Ce n'est pas parce que Xcode génère des applications de tailles monstrueuses que le monde entier est devenu subitement ignorant de la bonne utilisation des ressources d'un matériel informatique (même si de ce point de vue là Adobe et son Flash nous refait le coup du joueur de flûte de Hamelin).

Libération l'a mise en ligne le 23 octobre sur l'AppStore (la plate-forme d'Apple) et attend sa validation. Contrairement à tous ses prédécesseurs - le Monde, 20minutes, le Parisien, le Figaro - Libé inaugure une formule mixte, gratuit-payant.

CSS Tools: Reset CSS

The goal of a reset stylesheet is to reduce browser inconsistencies in things like default line heights, margins and font sizes of headings, and so on. The general reasoning behind this was discussed in a May 2007 post, if you're interested. Reset styles quite often appear in CSS frameworks, and the original "meyerweb reset" found its way into Blueprint, among others.
The reset styles given here are intentionally very generic. There isn't any default color or background set for the body element, for example. I don't particularly recommend that you just use this in its unaltered state in your own projects. It should be tweaked, edited, extended, and otherwise tuned to match your specific reset baseline. Fill in your preferred colors for the page, links, and so on.
In other words, this is a starting point, not a self-contained black box of no-touchiness.
