This cyberspace convergence of data, computers, networks, and multimedia presents exciting challenges to interface designers. However, this "new technology frontier" has also created enormous roadblocks and barriers for people with disabilities. This panel will discuss specific issues, suggest potential solutions and solicit contributions required to design an accessible Web interface that includes people with disabilities.

En 1988, suite à une explosion de criminalité aux États-Unis, l'île de Manhattan est devenue une ville-prison. En 1997, alors que le président des États-Unis se rend à une importante conférence, son avion Air Force One est détourné par des terroristes. Le président parvient à s'enfuir en s'éjectant à bord d'une capsule de survie qui s'écrase au cœur de Manhattan. Il est aussitôt retenu en otage par les prisonniers de l'île.
Le responsable de la sécurité, Bob Hauk, fait alors appel à Snake Plissken, un redoutable hors-la-loi et lui donne 24 heures pour sauver le président en échange de sa grâce.

In the last year, Podcasting has seen a huge explosion of awareness for many independent musicians, but for all the podcasts out there, there's still a miniscule amount of the population actually listening to them.

La Femelle du Requin est une association loi 1901 à but non lucratif, ayant pour objet l'édition de textes divers, l'organisation d'événements culturels, la promotion d'activités littéraires et artistiques.
La Femelle du Requin propose des dossiers thématiques ("Explosion", "Silence") qui étudient notamment de grands auteurs tels Jean Rolin, Patrick Chamoiseau. Ses contributeurs, auteurs ou illustrateurs sont nombreux et font de cette revue une revue un peu à part dans le paysage littéraire français : des textes de qualité, une ligne éditoriale bien affirmée et indépendante et une présence très marquée sur le web qui prouve que l'édition électronique et l'édition papier sont tout à fait complémentaires. La partie Sons et visuels est en ce sens tout à fait originale car elle permet de retrouver l'événementiel de la revue. Notons que la revue, qui possède également un espace MySpaces s'attache à rester très proche de son lectorat et de son public

There is a shift taking place from few with the power to users getting empowered. Content generating users (i.e. traffic, eye balls) will increasingly share the wealth.
