Transliteration bookmarklets let you type in your language in any text box on any web site. For example, you can use the bookmarklets in Gmail chat (to chat in your language), search for Google news articles, send messages in your language on social networks, write wikipedia pages in your language, etc. The bookmarklets use the Google Transliteration API to provide transliteration support wherever you want it. Transliteration bookmarklets are supported for Arabic, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Persian, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Abu Musa Jābir ibn Hayyān (Persian: جابر ابن حیان) (born c. 721 in Tus, Iran–died c. 815 in Kufa)[2], known by his Latinized name Geber, a prominent Persian and Muslim polymath: a chemist and alchemist, astronomer and astrologer, engineer, geologist, philosopher, physicist, and pharmacist and physician. He is considered by many to be one of the fathers of chemistry".[3] His ethnic background is not clear;[4] although some sources state that he was an Arab[5] other sources introduce him as Persian[6].

The past few years have been quite exciting for Iranian graphic designers. As Iran’s design gains more international attention, the graphic designers face new challenges and rewards. In winter 2002 a poster exhibition by Iranian graphic designers called “Un Cri Persan” (A Persian Cry) was held in the city of Echirolles as a part of the Month of Graphic Design in France.
