Les réseaux sociaux sur Internet intéressent les médias : le New York Times vient de nommer une rédactrice en chef chargée de ces nouveaux outils, Jennifer Preston. Elle doit en développer l'usage dans la rédaction, afin de "trouver des sources, dépister des tendances, diffuser des informations et en collecter", selon Jonathan Landman, directeur adjoint de la rédaction. Au premier rang de ces outils figure Twitter, le réseau social de micro-blogging.

Jakob Nielsen says mega drop-down navigation menus work well.
Given that regular drop-down menus are rife with usability problems, it takes a lot for me to recommend a new form of drop-down. But, as our testing videos show, mega drop-downs overcome the downsides of regular drop-downs. Thus, I can recommend one while warning against the other.
We’ll +1 that. A good, related example from our world: The project switcher in Basecamp.

Content Scrapers Beware Pt.2

OK the previous plug-in that I tried didn’t seem to work. It wasn’t placing the links in the feed nor was it placing the links in the content scrapers scrapped version on my content. So basically it was pointless to keep it.
Thanks to Jonathan Bailey from Plagiarism Today, he had suggested that I give ©Feed (Copy Feed) a try.
