The IBuySpy Portal architecture (PDF)

In this book, we'll be using the freely available IBuySpy Portal as a starting point for our intranet development. We'll look at both why we are modifying an existing intranet application rather than creating our own, and why we choose the IBuySpy Portal in particular. Once we have covered the basics, we'll take a tour of its features, looking at the files and types it consists of, how they function and fit together, and general principles behind the site. Finally, we'll take a brief look at how security is handled.

J’ai deux utilisations pour les biblioblogs . * ils me servent pour la veille technologique, et dans une moindre part pour l’innovation en terme de services (avec ou sans technique). Ce sont certains blogs très cibles, à peu près du même genre que celui-ci, mais en mieux ou en différent. Outil : Google Reader. * ils (les mêmes ou d’autres) me servent à avoir des retours d’expériences sur des sujets “quotidiens”, qui n’ont rien d’innovant mais pour lesquels il peut être utile ponctuellement de savoir comment ça se passe chez les autres : réussir sa conduite du changement, bien communiquer pour la mise en place d’un intranet, négocier les compensations d’horaires pour des “nocturnes”, etc. Dans l’hypothèse du cas contraire, j’ai créé un moteur Google personnalisé reprenant les biblioblogs listés sur la page Bibliopedia.

Google have provided a way for websites to opt out of IE6 (and even IE7) support without requiring enterprise-wide, Intranet-breaking browser upgrades, something Microsoft occasionally promised but never managed to deliver. In doing so, they've cheekily cut Microsoft out of the upgrade path of their own web browser.

Picok stands for Personal Information Cockpit. It's an open source software package, aimed at enableing users to build their personal information dashboards. The users content is loaded into small draggable boxes, so called portlets, and layed out in a tabbed column-based interface. There are a quite few standard portlets shipped with Picok, but since it is an open system, maintainers of picok installations can easily create portlets of their own.
Picok is written in PHP 5, uses the Yahoo User Interface Library and Zend Framework Components and supports MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM Lotus Notes and is ready to be integrated into your corporate intranet, website or community platform as well.

équipé d'un 'moteur' (base de données) complètement centralisé et géré (administré) par vos soins : transparence et sécurité.
Le serveur peut être installé sur le réseau local (lan) ou directement sur internet, simple à installer (l'habituel duo PHP/MySQL).
Il permet aux sociétés/communautés (organisations, associations, institutions...) et groupes de travail dispersés de créer et contrôler leur propre réseau(x) de messagerie instantanée collaborative.
Deux modes modes de fonctionnement complémentaires sont même disponibles (en exclusivité) :
- open community : tous les contacts sont directement visibles sans même s'ajouter au carnet d'adresses (écoles, cybercafés...).
- groups only : l'utilisateur ne gère plus de liste de contacts, mais c'est l'administrateur qui le place dans un ou plusieurs groupes.
L'utilisateur voit alors (et uniquement) tous ceux du (des) même(s) groupe(s) que lui.

Exposing a WCF Service With Multiple Bindings and Endpoints

Windows Communication Foundation (henceforth abbreviated as WCF) supports multiple bindings that allows developers to expose their services in a variety of ways. What this means is a developer can create a service once and then expose it to support net.tcp:// or http:// and various versions of http:// (Soap1.1, Soap1.2, WS*, JSON, etc). This can be useful if a service crosses boundaries between intranet and extranet applications for example. This article walks through the steps to configure a service to support multiple bindings with Visual Studio 2008 and the .Net 3.5 framework. For those that want to jump directly to the sample solution it can be found at the end of this article.

Internet Service Providers currently sell web page hosting services where a customer, using an easy-to-use WYSIWYG tool on their personal computer, edits their home page which is stored far away on the provider's host system. Within a corporate intranet, employees are starting to use intranet-enabled word processing and spreadsheet tools to save their work directly to a departmental web server.

Dimdim est une application intranet-internet de réunion à distance, à l’instar de logiciels comme Netmeeting ou Ekiga. Ainsi, il est possible de diffuser la voix de trois personnes au maximum sur tous les clients, ou de voir la caméra du maître de conférence. Ce dernier peut choisir, en outre, d’afficher :
- son écran
- un document au format PDF
- un document au format Word
- un document au format Excel
- un document au format PowerPoint
Dimdim ne se trouve pas sous forme de logiciel, mais s’intègre à un site Internet déjà existant. L’éxécutable installera un serveur apache, Tomcat. Dès lors, l’intérêt devient énorme quand on pense aux plateformes d’apprentissage en ligne, où les étudiants pourront avoir des cours en direct.
Dimdim semble à terme avoir un gros potentiel, d’autant plus que des paquetages d’installation existent pour différents LCMS (Learning Content Management System) : Claroline, Moodle et SugarCRM et s’installent facilement, comme des modules.
