Fritzing is an open-source initiative to support designers, artists, researchers and hobbyists to take the step from physical prototyping to actual product. We are creating this software in the spirit of Processing and Arduino, developing a tool that allows users to document their Arduino and other electronic-based prototypes, and to create a PCB layout for manufacturing.

Penn State Public Broadcasting is developing the Geospatial Revolution Project, an integrated public service media and outreach initiative on the brave new world of digital mapping.

The project will include a 60-minute public television broadcast program, a structured outreach initiative

with educational partners, a chaptered program DVD including educational toolkit components, and a Web site with information and additional resources.

Three International Digital Emmy® Awards and the Pioneer Prize will be presented at a Gala Ceremony, on Monday, March 30.

Through these awards, the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is celebrating a significantly growing sector of the television industry and recognize excellence in content created and designed for viewer interaction and/or delivery on a digital platform.

The Pioneer Prize, is not an Emmy® but rather a special initiative from the Academy which honours an industry personality or organisation. Niklas Savander, Member of the Nokia Group Executive Board and EVP, Nokia Services will accept on behalf of the company this prize for its innovative contributions to the field of digital television and video broadcasting on a mobile device.

SpaceCollective is a joint initiative of filmmaker Rene Daalder and designer Folkert Gorter. Daalder is the project's main author and creator of The Future of Everything. Gorter is the site's interaction designer and the curator of the Gallery. System architecture and technology created by Josh Pangell. The Future of Everything episodes are edited by Aaron Ohlmann and produced by American Scenes Inc; executive producer: Joseph Kaufman.

This site is dedicated to helping those creating their own iCalendars or iCalendar feeds to ensure their calendars will work with other systems. It also serves as a meeting place for those developing validation tools to collaborate and ensure the validation is as accurate and useful as possible.

Why Validate?

Validating your iCalendar feeds before they are deployed ensures that they will be compatible with other iCalendar systems.

Voilà une initiative d'Arte qui me parait vraiment intéressante. La chaîne télé adopte les codes du Net et c'est plutôt réussi.

Deux petites remarques spontanées, malgré tout: le format (trop) court est un peu frustrant. On aimerait bien passer un peu plus de temps avec les "personnages". Et la partie GoogleMap ne me semble pas (aujourd'hui) nécessaire. Mais peut-être qu'avec le temps, s'avèrera-t-elle indispensable à une meilleure compréhension de la situation ?
