MIPTV 2009 International Digital Emmy® Awards - RM-Mip

Three International Digital Emmy® Awards and the Pioneer Prize will be presented at a Gala Ceremony, on Monday, March 30.

Through these awards, the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is celebrating a significantly growing sector of the television industry and recognize excellence in content created and designed for viewer interaction and/or delivery on a digital platform.

The Pioneer Prize, is not an Emmy® but rather a special initiative from the Academy which honours an industry personality or organisation. Niklas Savander, Member of the Nokia Group Executive Board and EVP, Nokia Services will accept on behalf of the company this prize for its innovative contributions to the field of digital television and video broadcasting on a mobile device.

As consumers’ digital consumption habits are increasingly going mobile, Nokia and the mobility industry at large is excited by the business opportunity it presents for us together with our content partners." Le 19 février dernier, Eric Duperrin, le webmaster du site LesPipoles.com était jugé en référé pour ne pas avoir supprimé le lien vers l’actualité en cause sur Gala.fr. LesPipoles.com est un agrégateur de flux RSS de sites consacrés aux peoples. Il diffuse en effet, de façon automatique et en continu, le titre, le chapeau et un lien hypertexte vers des actualités venues d’autres sites consacrés à ce thème. Gala mais aussi Entrevue, Show bizz, Actu Star, etc. Le Tribunal de Grande Instance de Nanterre a jugé Eric Duperrin responsable des informations diffusées sur son site et l’a condamné à une amende de 1800 euros de dommages et intérêts

In November 2005 I presented on pro.html.it a three-part article on creating CSS layouts using techniques like negative margins, any order columns and in some case opposite floats. The main goal of the article was getting the maximum number of layouts based on the same markup, each with valid CSS and HTML, without hacks nor workaround and a good cross-browser compatibility. The result is a set of 40 layouts that we've thought worth sharing: on each of them you'll find also a download link (if you want, you can download the entire collection, 40 HTML pages in a single zip file). Further details can be found below the gallery.
