SystemRescueCd is a Linux system rescue disk available as a bootable CD-ROM or USB stick for administrating or repairing your system and data after a crash. It aims to provide an easy way to carry out admin tasks on your computer, such as creating and editing the partitions of the hard disk. It comes with a lot of linux software such as system tools (parted, partimage, fstools, ...) and basic tools (editors, midnight commander, network tools). It requires no installation since you just have to boot on the CD-ROM. It can be used to perform admin tasks on both linux servers, linux desktops or windows boxes. The kernel supports most of the important file systems (ext2/ext3/ext4, reiserfs, reiser4, btrfs, xfs, jfs, vfat, ntfs, iso9660), as well as network filesystems (samba and nfs).

Unetbootin, vous permet d’installer une distribution Linux sur une clé USB. Plus précisément, c’est un installateur très simple pré-programmé pour : * une vingtaine de distributions GNU/Linux mais aussi BSD [1] ; * une petite dizaine d’utilitaires d’administration de système (Parted Magic, Super Grub Disk, Ophcrack, etc.). Osmos provides on-disk ordered key-value tables for Erlang, based on a sort-merge machine with user-defined merging semantics. This allows a very high volume of updates to be handled efficiently while still supporting a variety of useful operations with transactional safety, e.g., adding to a counter, taking the union of sets, or simply replacing a record.
Osmos is ideal for situations where updates are much more frequent than queries, for example, collecting statistics for reporting, and periodically generating reports.

Ensuite, il faudra lancer un outil de ligne de commande en administrateur (Touche Windows + R, taper cmd puis valider en faisant MAJ + Entrée). Une fois ceci effectué, il faudra lancer l'outil Diskpart de Windows en tapant simplement diskpart et en validant. - Identifier notre clef USB en tapant list disk (numéro de la clef USB). Séléctionons ensuite la clef avec la fonction select disk XX , où XX est le numéro relevé précédemment. Formater le clef en FAT. Le NTFS, peut, par contre aussi être utilisé, mais cela empêchera la création d'un menu GRUB pour le multi−boot, et donc, de remplir la clef avec des outils aussi INtéresants que nombreux. Pour ce faire, il vous faudra taper les commandes suivantes : clean · create partition primary (on rajoutera size=2000 si la clef fait plus de 2 Go) · format FS=FAT Quick · active · assign · exit ·

APC (Alternative PHP Cache) is a PHP opcode cache. It stores PHP pages in RAM and reduces hard disk activity. This makes a real difference to the performance in Moodle, and you should be able to achieve a 50% increase in system capacity and your CPU will be 50% less busy.
This guide is for installation of APC on a Windows server. The instructions have been tested on a Windows 2003 server, and they should also be applicable if you are using Windows XP as a test server.

Note: If the errors reproduce after (re-)granting the privileges, then the directory on disk may have been created after the directory object was created. In that case:
- drop the directory object in the database;
- ensure that the directory exists on the filesystem on the server where the Oracle database is installed, and that the Oracle user has access to it;
- re-create the directory object in the database;
- grant the read and write privileges on the directory object to the user(s) who connect to the database when starting the expdp / impdp job.
