(...)Underlying the intricate geometric patterns of great complexity displayed in the art of the Shipibo people is a concept of an all pervading magical reality which can challenge the Western linguistic heritage and rational mind.
One of the challenges for the Western mind is to acknowledge the relationship between the Shipibo designs and music. For the Shipibo can “listen” to a song or chant by looking at the designs, and inversely paint a pattern by listening to a song or music. As an astonishing demonstration of this I witnessed two Shipiba paint a large ceremonial ceramic pot known as a Mahuetá. The pot was nearly five feet high and had a diameter of about three feet, each of the Shipiba couldn’t see what the other was painting, yet both were whistling the same song, and when they had finished both sides of the complex geometric pattern were identical and matched each side perfectly.

Apple’s Mac OS X operating system is renowned for its fluid graphical effects. One impressive feature is the dock’s ‘fish-eye’ effect, whereby icons expand and contract as the mouse moves over them. Achieving this effect in JavaScript is difficult, but the MacStyleDock function allows this feature to be implemented easily. An example is shown below (a larger demonstration is available on a separate page).

Spread consists of a library that user applications are linked with, a binary daemon which runs on each computer that is part of the processor group, and various utility and demonstration programs.

For my own purpose I would like to show my family galleries from my web page. It’s ok with the standard page design, but a iPhone native web page would be even better.
So I get the iUI from Joe Hewitt (Creator of Firebug) and programmed (based on the WordPress Mobile Edition by Alex King) a little plugin to show the galleries in a iPhone native design. Really not very famous, but usefull for me.
Here are some screenshots (With Safari, I didn’t Jailbreak my iPod for now) :
