DLFP: Découverte d'une faille de sécurité critique dans OpenSSL de Debian

Le 13 mai, un message publié sur la liste de sécurité Debian identifiait une anomalie impactant le paquet openssl. Ce bug a été introduit par un mainteneur Debian, qui a eu la main lourde en voulant "corriger" des alertes remontées par Valgrind (un logiciel qui audite le code). Résultat des courses : le générateur de nombres aléatoires, composant critique de nombreux systèmes de chiffrements, n'est au final pas si aléatoire que ça, voire carrément prévisible.
En conséquence, tous les certificats et clefs SSL/SSH générés sur une Debian (ou dérivée) depuis 2006 l'ont été à partir d'un univers des possibles très restreint (environ 250 000 clefs, à confirmer) et présentent donc un niveau de sécurité largement inférieur à celui estimé.

ADSL NO DEBIAN
Configurar uma conexão adsl (Velox, Speedy etc) no Linux é muito fácil e varia de uma distro para outra. Há distribuições que possuem ferramentas gráficas para tal, como a Kurumin e a Mandriva, mas também é possível configurá-las pelo terminal e é por esse método que vamos fazer a configuração. O procedimento serve tanto para o Ubuntu quanto para as distribuições baseadas no Debian, pelo menos nas que eu testei...
Abra o terminal e digite sem as aspas " sudo pppoeconf " (se você estiver usando o Debian provavelmente será necessário instalar o pacote, digite no terminal " sudo apt-get install pppoeconf " com o cd de instalação no drive), digite a sua senha de usuário e vai aparecer uma janela dizendo que detectou tantas interfaces de rede (eth0, eth1, etc para quantas placas de rede você tenha na máquina) e se você deseja configurar a conexão na interface de rede selecionada e, selecionada a interface de rede onde o modem adsl está conectado, vai aparecer uma janela dizendo que foi detectado o concentrador de acesso (no caso, o modem adsl) e assim ir para a tela de login; digite o seu nome de usuário e senha do seu provedor de acesso e vá dando ENTER e concordando com as perguntas que forem feitas, escolhendo ao final da configuração que você quer que a conexão seja iniciada no boot da máquina. Isso vai permitir que a sua conexão esteja sempre ativa. Reinicie a máquina e pronto, já estará conectado e navegando.

Keyboards are inefficient for two reasons: they do not exploit the redundancy in normal ... all » language; and they waste the fine analogue capabilities of the user's motor system (fingers and eyes, for example). I describe a system intended to rectify both these inefficiencies. Dasher is a text-entry system in which a language model plays an integral role, and it's driven by continuous gestures. Users can achieve single-finger writing speeds of 35 words per minute and hands-free writing speeds of 25 words per minute. Dasher is free software, and it works in all languages, and on many platforms. Dasher is part of Debian, and there's even a little java version for your web-browser.

Utilizando o Audacity
Antes de qualquer coisa precisamos obter o programa, se o seu sistema for Windows, acesse o site http://audacity.sourceforge.net e baixe o instalador e o arquivo Lame, este arquivo serve para transformar suas produções em MP3. O Audacity não transforma os arquivos em MP3 sem o Lame, pois a extensão MP3 é um formato licenciado, ou seja, para produzir um software ou um aparelho que utilize a tecnologia MP3, deve-se pagar royalts para a empresa detentora dos direitos; por isso dentro da comunidade de Software Livre o formato defendido para arquivos de som é o OGG que encontra-se licenciado dentro da lei GNU, porém muitos aparelhos ainda não possuem suporte para esta tecnologia.
Para instalar em sistemas Linux, vamos utilizar o terminal.
Atenção: Você deve conhecer a senha de administrador para realizar esta instalação.
Uma das maravilhas do Linux, em específico nas versões em DEBIAN, é a instalação via apt-get, basta saber o nome do pacote e no terminal dar o comando apt-get install nome_do_programa e pronto!
Para instalar entre no terminal e siga os passos:
1. Digite: su root e tecle ENTER
2. Digite a senha de root e tecle ENTER
3. apt-get update ===> isso irá atualizar a sua lista de programas, não precisa fazer sempre!!!
4. Digite: apt-get install Audacity
5. Talvez seja necessário teclar no Y e dar um ENTER se pedir para confirmar.
6. Digite: apt-get install lamme

Tellement vrai. En même temps des clients insistent bien pour avoir des serveurs sous Windows, CentOS n'est pas pire à maintenir.

Debian: Testing : comment l’utiliser efficacement ?

La branche « Testing » de Debian représente la future version « Stable » en développement. C’est pour beaucoup un excellent choix : les logiciels y sont récents et elle est généralement très stable. Cependant, du fait qu’elle soit en développement, elle nécessite une certaine attention et certaines connaissances pour être appréciée et utilisée sereinement.
