Pyjama - IPRE Wiki
The Pyjama Project is a framework for computing. At its core is an integrated editor and interactive console for writing and exploring computer science through dynamic languages. It is designed to be a simple, yet powerful, integrated development environment (IDE) for students, teachers, researchers, and regular humans, too. It runs on most any operating system, including Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows, and is built using .NET and Mono. All sources for the Pyjama Project are open and free---freely available and you are free to use them in various ways. All source code conforms to OSI approved licenses.

an XML Test Runner for PyUnit, Python's unit test suite. It writes the results of a test run to an XML file instead of printing it to the console and is compatible with the output from JUnit. This allows easy integration into automatic build tools like CruiseControl.

OSCulator is a software that links your controllers to your music and video software. For example, with OSCulator, your Nintendo Wiimote or iPhone can talk to major MIDI sequencers or your favorite console emulator or even the Kyma sound design workstation.
OSCulator supports the OSC protocol which makes it able to be used with a wide variety of software and devices like SuperCollider, Processing, Max/MSP or the Lemur multitouch controller.

I'm not sure how people can stand three-pane readers. Graphical or console, I don't want to tab around multiple windows to read my news. The way I read, I want all of the headlines out where I can see them with minimal cruft. It should be one key stroke to do most common actions.
