Your solution doesn’t solve the problem. If you use border-collapse: separate, and you actually use the borders, the smallest border you can get is 2px, which is not acceptable.
I cannot believe this bug is still around in Firefox 3.
Vous ne rêvez pas, nous sommes en 2009 et Firefox ne sait toujours pas gérer border-collapse correctement. On va se marrer avec CSS3.

ixi audio is an experimental project concerned with the creation of digital musical instruments and environments for generative music. We are interested in the computer as a workshop for building non-conventional tools for musicians, i.e. not trying to imitate or copy the tools that we know from the world of acoustic instruments or studio technology. We currently work with open source software such as SuperCollider, ChucK and Pure Data, but our aim is to distribute our applications packaged in a way that allows everybody to use them. Simplicity and ease of use together with depth in interaction and expressive scope is the aim of our experimental music software.

Prenez Pharrel Williams, Julian Casablancas de The Strokes et la chanteuse Santogold, ajoutez-y une bonne pincée d'inventivité visuelle et vous obtiendrez l'un des plus beaux clips entrevus cette année en plus d'un titre plutôt sympa intitulé "My Drive Thru" (mention spéciale au groove de l'ami Pharrel responsable de la prod' bien sûr) ! Le plus dingue ? C'est que ce clip a en fait été enregistré et réalisé pour célébrer les 100 ans des chaussures Chuck Taylor de Converse ! Saleté de marketing bien foutu !
