High Performance Web Sites :: @font-face and performance
A quick survey shows that seven of the Alexa U.S. top ten web sites have a SCRIPT tag above their stylesheets or STYLE blocks: AOL, Facebook, Google, Bing, MSN, MySpace, and Yahoo!. These web sites don’t currently use @font-face, but if they did, they would experience the IE blocked rendering problem. This raises the concern that other web sites that are early adopters of @font-face have a SCRIPT tag above @font-face and their IE users run the risk of experiencing blocked rendering.

20,000+ Gmail, Yahoo, AOL Accounts Compromised [ALERT]
Unfortunately, Hotmail was only the beginning. Google (Google) has now confirmed that thousands of Gmail (Gmail) accounts were compromised by an “industry-wide phishing scheme.” According to the BBC, the login data of over 30,000 Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Comcast, and Earthlink accounts have been posted online.

Daring Fireball Linked List: Gmail Passes AOL to Capture Third-Place in Web Mail
Many of my friends — technically knowledgeable, demanding email users — use and love Gmail. None of them use Hotmail or Yahoo Mail. Raw user count is the wrong metric; Gmail has already won.
Google is like Apple in this way. It starts by taking over the premium end of a market.
Bien d'accord, Google a pris le premium des boîtes mail poubelle. Je n'utilise plus jetable.org ni mailinator.com : Gmail fournit un service identique.

Facebook First Big Site To Really Embrace OpenID
Facebook First Big Site To Really Embrace OpenID
Apparently it’s embrace the developer community day at Facebook. In addition to the news that they are making activity stream data available to third party developers, they’ll also be making an announcement around OpenID, we’ve heard. And importantly, the announcement is that they’ll become what’s called a relying party, meaning anyone with an OpenID (Yahoo, Google, AOL, MySpace are all issuers, and Microsoft is in beta) can create and log into a Facebook account using those credentials.
