Business Directory
The Business Directory plugin for Wordpress is an easy way to host a free directory page for your readers, affiliates, advertisers, community or club members. Invite them to submit a simple advertisement listing for themselves on your blog.
Listings include company name, a short description, and contact information including a live URL. The plugin includes an admin tab that allows you to approve of listings before they appear live on the site. You can also edit and delete listings.

Template tags is a really good thing i Wordpress. Unfortunately there are some tags missing. I created a plugin to provide Wordpress users with extra template tags. It can be used in themes or plugins.
To prevent future function collisions I’ve put an underscore before every template tag. The Wordpress team might delvelop these template tags later. If some tag already exist don’t hesitate to leave a comment.

A mi-chemin entre Wordpress et Twitter, Tumblr est un outil de “speed blogging” qui permet de poster rapidement des photos, citations, textes,…, depuis sa machine ou depuis sont mobile et ce de nombreuses façons. Ce service est promis à un très bel avenir et je le trouve plus intéressant, plus complet qu’un Twitter. Bloguer sous Wordpress, ça prend du temps et du temps, on n’en a pas beaucoup, nous allons vers des systèmes de blogging où l’on va s’affranchir au max des interfaces et autres admin, bloguer depuis le contenu directement, mieux interagir avec lui et gagner du temps.

CopyPasteCharacter.com est une simple page affichant l’ensemble des symboles les plus courants ainsi que leur équivalent HTML : un clic sur un caractère vous permet de le sélectionner au format texte ou HTML, et il ne vous reste plus qu’à le coller dans votre texte.
Sinon, lorsque mon admin Wordpress est ouverte, c’est à dire souvent, j’utilise directement éditeur de texte de celle-ci, qui propose aussi une grille complète de symboles avec leur équivalent HTML.

It’s key to remember that MySQLTuner is a script which can assist you with your server, but it is not the solution to a badly performing MySQL server. The best performance gains come from a thorough review of the queries sent to the server, and an evaluation of the MySQL server itself. A qualified developer in your application’s programming or scripting language should be able to work with a MySQL database administrator to find improvements for your server. Once the server and application are optimized well, you may need to consider hardware upgrades to the physical server itself.
This is a really useful tool for helping to optimize MySQL performance.Understanding the various my.cnf variables and how they affect performance can seem really complicated but this tool takes some of the pain away and makes it easier to understand the effects of each variable.It is especially useful to be able to see the global memory usage, memory usage per thread and the maximum possible memory usage - that is really valuable information that is otherwise complex to calculate.

I'm pleased to present you with part one of a two part series on creating a photo site using PHP, jQuery, and AJAX. Originally, I intended to fit the entire tutorial into one screencast, but that quickly became a pipe dream as I realized that there was simply too much to cover. Nevertheless, even if you only watch this first video, you should learn a great deal.
We'll be retrieving images from a database, creating a simple login form with authentication, and will then allow for our database to be asynchronously updated. Sounds good? If so, let's get into it.
