David Suzuki Foundation opens Montreal office, launches French website September 25, 2008 MONTREAL - The David Suzuki Foundation announced today that it has appointed Karel Mayrand director of DSF Quebec and has opened its newest office in Montreal. “Canadians and Québécois must realize that we all are part of nature; there is no line or border that separates us from the rest of the world,” said David Suzuki. “Quebec possesses exceptional biodiversity in its plentitude of lakes, rivers, boreal forests, and other natural resources. In this respect, the province has a huge responsibility to continue to nurture and protect its natural capital.”
