Esther's work is beautiful and compelling. This is one thing I would absolutely love to be doing. Spend some time browsing through her site...you'll be better for it.

oh my lord. her photography is pure art and it absolutely takes my breath away. lots of self-portraits, but like none i've ever seen. her background in film direction has given her a uniquely forward-thinking method of composing her shots.

i really, really suck at this (hey, i've only done it twice). and plus, i'm very afraid of breaking something. but i'm willing to practice if it means getting cool shots like this.

oh my good lord. my favorite thing about his photos is the way he makes the skin glow in many of them like in old 30's and 40's starlet photos. but he's also got the ability to make things look so raw and alive. simply an amazing talent.
