How to create packages? A tutorial with Moonmoon. « La Distribution Blog

<blockquote>
<p>Distributing a new or existing web application on La Distribution is really easy. All we have to do is to embed the application in what we call a package. As of today, La Distribution can theoretically support all PHP web applications, this mean there is tons of potential applications to package.</p>
<p>Moonmoon logoIn this tutorial we’re going to package Moonmoon a PHP based PlanetPlanet clone. It’s relatively simple, it’s representative of a typical web application, and better, it’s from my friend Maurice! Frankly, I had no clue if the packaging was possible before starting writing this tutorial, so let’s cross our fingers.</p>

Not only does the Simple Spark Catalog have a comprehensive listing of really cool apps that gets larger every day, but we also give you the tools to organize and share all these apps with your friends. Our catalog is a marketplace where both established companies and independent developers come to strut their stuff.
A Place for Developers to Dream, Create and Find an Audience
Here at Simple Spark, we like cool stuff. We know a lot of developers who have fantastic ideas, but just can't find an audience for their creation. If you're a developer with a idea, Simple Spark can help you find both the tools and audience for your work — we can help you dream, create and succeed.
105 Web apps for everything you could possibly need

Today, Yoav Ezer, CTO of Cogniview has published an excellent listing of “100 web apps for everything you will possibly need.” I can personally vouch for a large chunk of these web apps, some I use multiple times daily. The theme of this great web apps list is business oriented, though, individuals, developers, bloggers, designers, freelancers and geeks in general will prize these valuable resources. Increasing productivity, saving time and having a bit of fun with your work online is the name of the game.
