<description>Depuis de nombreuses années, les gourous du marketing utilisent la segmentation des clientèles pour tenter de mieux cerner les habitudes de consommation: «Qui se ressemble s'assemble» est leur credo. Que l'on parle de strates démographiques (générations X et Y, baby-boomers, etc.) ou de sociostyles (génération C, Urban Uptown, Gray Power, métrosexuel, massclusivity, Masters of the Youniverse, etc.), l'idée n'est pas nouvelle. Ce qui l'est, par contre, c'est de marier la localisation géographique à l'analyse du comportement et des attentes des consommateurs. Voilà comment mettre à profit la segmentation des clientèles par le géomarketing. </description>
