There’s a strong tendency to see services as ‘things’: we often hear that services are ‘more complex’ than products. Social Life of Paper ( connects to papernet ). it reminds me also of the japanese paper strips attached to a ring that japanese students used to study vocabulary. little *physical* piece of information accessible in discrete manner. mmmm thinking out loud. sense of satisfaction when sorting a pile of clothes, washing a big pile of dishes, making books straight. visible physical workIn my mind, they’re the ultimate to-do (or to-worry) list.
