Such as: “Anyone can make their own magazines for free.” Enter MagCloud, a new print-on-demand website dedicated to magazines.

It works like this: you upload a PDF of your magazine to the MagCloud website. You are then told a minimum price per copy that it can be sold it, to cover their production costs. You set a sale price above that, and make it available on the website. MagCloud processes the orders, deals with the payments, sends you your margin, and then prints out a single copy of the magazine and mails it to the customer. You have zero fixed costs, and don’t have boxes and boxes of unsold mags in your garage. Everyone’s a winner. Ish.

In the fall of the year 2000 the first version of Iconique.com arrived on the Internet. 'It is time for a site where Internet Meets Style both design and content wise.' as quoted back then by its founder Joost van Gorsel. His unique ability to mix animation and music with refreshing, stylish content proved to be a winner among the internet's fashion lovers.

Since its launch Iconique has been published in many magazines, newspapers, websites and books and won several web awards. 'Our goal is to create a certain vibe, by which style, fashion and a sense of creativity will be conveyed to our visitors. We want our guests to be exposed to the best. This obviously includes our most important section, Fashion & Style, with its animated editorials, Virtual Catwalk, fashion news and much more. We want to present the young and upcoming, as well as the renowned top designers.'

getmail is a mail retriever designed to allow you to get your mail from one or more mail accounts on various mail servers to your local machine for reading with a minimum of fuss. getmail is designed to be secure, flexible, reliable, and easy-to-use. getmail is designed to replace other mail retrievers such as fetchmail.

getmail version 4 includes the following features:

    * simple to install, configure, and use
    * retrieve virtually any mail
          o support for accessing mailboxes with the following protocols:

                  POP3-over-SSL
                  IMAP4
                  IMAP4-over-SSL
                  SDPS (Demon UK's extensions to POP3)

    * support for message filtering, classification, and annotation by external programs like spam filters and anti-virus programs
    * support for delivering messages to different destinations based on the message recipient
    * reliability
          o native safe and reliable delivery support for maildirs and mboxrd files, in addition to delivery through arbitrary external message delivery agents (MDAs)
          o does not destroy information by rewriting mail headers
          o does not cause mail loops by doing SMTP injection, and therefore does not require that you run an MTA (like qmail or sendmail) on your host
    * written in Python, and therefore easy to extend or customize
          o a flexible, extensible architecture so that support for new mail access protocols, message filtering operations, or destination types can be easily added
          o cross-platform operation; getmail 4 should work on Unix/Linux, Macintosh, and other platforms. Windows support available under the free Cygwin package.

When Will Amy Winehouse Die? - Predict it here!

<blockquote><p>We’ll all have a date with our maker someday, but Amy Winehouse just can’t seem to wait. She can write and sing a beautiful tune, but for some reason Amy has landed in a self-destruction derby. It is even rumoured that Amy and Pete are keeping the Colombian economy going. She simply looks like a cat’s asshole before it’s been dewormed. Amy is on her way out and as the world is profiting from this decline we thought it only fair that you should profit from it too. Guess her final breath and be crowned Mr. Or Mrs. Death. Winner will be rewarded with a iPod Touch.</p></blockquote>
