HOW TO GROW A STRAW BALE GARDEN

Kent Rogers of Wake Forest has successfully cultivated a vegetable garden in bales
of straw. Carolina Country’s report on his idea last year drew attention from gardeners
and others across the state. Kent points out that the method produces
good-looking, healthy plants without weeds, and is especially convenient for people
who don’t have a large plot of ground to till, or who are physically unable to
do a lot of kneeling, bending, raking and hoeing. Here is some of his advice for
people interested in straw bale gardening.

Whiskyspot : Det Japanska undret

Internet Archive: Details: Wuthering Heights

Librivox recording of Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë.
Read by Zachary Brewster-Geisz, Geoff Cowgill, Michelle Crandall, hosmer_angel, Lee Ann Howlett, Larysa Jaworski, JemmaBlythe, Lady Maria, Lord Peter, Martina, Mellors, Alison Raouf, scrappylibrarian and Jennifer Stearns.

A tale of passion set in the bleak Yorkshire moors in mid 19thC, far from the Victorian uprightness, Wuthering Heights depicts the mutual love of Catherine and Heathcliff till destruction rends the narration; yet cruelty is only to be met with forgiveness in the following generations. Romantic, impassioned and wild, it is also a dark journey in the human soul.

One thing that has been annoying me for ages is that no video player on the web allows you to write comments for a specific time in the video that get displayed as plain text. Viddler allows you to comment at a certain time and it appears in the video, but the benefits of time based captioning both in terms of accessibility and SEO didn’t quite transpire to any video site maintainers yet. Edit: Darn, I hadn’t looked at Viddler for a long time, it actually does this now, well done!

Each track have a STFU rank, relative to the number of times a listener has clicked on the 5TFU! button. The playlist depends on this rank.

Just listen to the whole track.

NO. Just keep the hotlink(in blue) to listen to it whenever you want. Or try the search input with some keywords. Or just 5TFU everything till you find the wanted track.

He rinsed and repeated a few times till he was left with about 15,000 people who saw him get it right several times in a row. They were obviously very impressed. He then invited them to pay $5,000 each for a seminar with him on picking stocks! :)

Wait till I come! » Blog Archive » Generating charts from accessible data tables and vice versa using the Google Charts API

<blockquote><p>Google have lately been praised for their chart API and my esteemed colleague Ed Eliot has a workaround for its restrictions in terms of caching and server hits.

I played around a bit with it and thought it very cool but it felt a bit clunky to add all these values to a URL when they could be in the document for those who cannot see pie charts. This is why I wrote a small script that converts data tables to charts using the API and a wee bit of JavaScript.

Using this script you can take a simple, valid and accessible data table like the following and it gets automatically converted to a pie chart.</p></blockquote>

JSON eval(): Owning the Dashboard (No Such Weblog)

<blockquote><p>There are two dashboard widgets that let you both post and follow: Twitterlex and Twitgit. In plain English, both of these are huge security risks that create an easy way for an attacker on your network to take over your Mac. Uninstall them till there are new versions.

In technical terms, both are relatively simple pieces of JavaScript. Both use JSON to retrieve their data through the Twitter API. Both use eval() to evaluate the JSON data.</p></blockquote>
