Cela est valable surtout pour zazen, mais aussi pour toute chose. Dans la vie quotidienne, dans le travail, il est nécessaire d’avoir l’esprit ushotoku. Mais même dans le travail, si finalement vous voulez seulement gagner de l’argent, vous ne pouvez y parvenir. De même dans l’art, dans la diplomatie, dans l’amitié : si on agit avec un esprit de non-profit, mushotoku, les mérites arrivent vraiment.</description>
