That was our thesis for building TuneIn. Social and "new" media websites have enabled us all to create a river of information, most recently in the form of real-time streams. There is gold in those streams. Daily, hourly, minute-by-minute gold. People have started mining that gold, not only for their own personal benefit, but also for their friends. With services like Twitter and Facebook, people, rather than algorithms, are providing the most valuable take on what's worth reading, watching and hearing. They are bringing perspective to an otherwise fuzzy picture, helping determine what's signal and what's noise.

And if other people know what's going on in our thoughts and in our personal records and communications, they've invaded that margin and they've made it less easy for us to control our own lives.

In other words - you can setup your OWN personal domains simply by setting your MX record (i.e. through your registrar or DNS server) to point your mail delivery to Mailinator! desks were before uneven due to time deterioration or scribbling. although the school
desks all have the same shape, they gradually gain individual character through the personal
items of the pupil, like a school bag or a hat. however, in this project, the individuality of
the desks is regenerated through colors, thanks to the craftsmanship and expertise
of nakamura shuhei. he reset the the unevenness to 'flat' with translucent color epoxy.
deep points are mirrored by dense colors and shallow points by more transparent shades.
this project is part of the 'flatproject' series.

Although we are not comparing apples to apples, Gentoo did out-perform Ubuntu in almost every test, and sometimes by a fair margin. It does appear that optimizing for a specific CPU can yield a decent performance increase.
Of course, Gentoo offers benefits in other areas with their USE flags and being able to build a highly customized system. The question is whether the amount of time it takes is worth the benefit, and that’s a personal choice.
