MIDI-Perl: Reading and Writing MIDI in Perl

MIDI-Perl is a suite of Perl modules which allows MIDI files to be read in and manipulated, or composed anew, and written out as MIDI files.

Its simplest uses include listing text events from MIDI files for archival purposes, making dumps of MIDI files for debugging purposes, and extracting, saving, or dumping sysexes. More complex applications include aleatoric/algorithmic composition, and modifying existing MIDI files (e.g., changing their timing, transposing their key, or performing some yet more complex transform on them)

Galleriffic | A jQuery plugin for rendering fast-performing photo galleries

Galleriffic was inspired by Mike Alsup's Cycle plugin, but with performance in mind for delivering a high volume of photos. This is my first experiment with jQuery, so I would love feedback on how to improve this plugin.
Features

    * Smart Image Preloading after the page is loaded
    * Thumbnail Navigation (with pagination)
    * Bookmark-friendly URLs
    * Slideshow (with auto-updating url bookmarks)
    * Image fade transitions
    * Optional download link for the original image
    * Flexible configuration
    * Graceful degradation when javascript is not available
    * Now supports multiple galleries per page (View Multiple Gallery Demo)

It is activated by the keyboard CTRL Space command which displays a transparent black rectangle in the upper left corner of the screen below the Firefox header area. That screen resembles a command line waiting for user input. There are about 50 commands that Ubiquity comes installed with which are the core of the extension. This reaches from posting messages (about a website) to Twitter, looking up information on Wikipedia, performing web searches on various search engines or looking up information on Google Maps. The real benefit for the user is that he does not have to leave the current tab to get the information because everything happens in that black box. Results are shown in that block as well in real time.
