Nelson Mandela explains the concept of Ubuntu

Ubuntu is an ethic or humanist philosophy focusing on people's allegiances and relations with each other. The word has its origin in the Bantu languages of Southern Africa. Ubuntu is seen as a classical African concept. (Dion Forster 2006a:252)[1]
PULANDO UM TRECHO ..TEMOS :
Meaning

An attempt at a longer definition has been made by Archbishop Desmond Tutu (1999):
“ A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, for he or she has a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed. ”

Archbishop Desmond Tutu further explained Ubuntu as follows (2008):
“ One of the sayings in our country is Ubuntu - the essence of being human. Ubuntu speaks particularly about the fact that you can't exist as a human being in isolation. It speaks about our interconnectedness. You can't be human all by yourself, and when you have this quality - Ubuntu - you are known for your generosity.

We think of ourselves far too frequently as just individuals, separated from one another, whereas you are connected and what you do affects the whole world. When you do well, it spreads out; it is for the whole of humanity.
	”

in this article, i outline a step-by-step process for incrementally scaling your deployment, from a simple single-node drupal install running all components of the system, all the way to a load balanced, multi node system with database level optimization and clustering.

since you almost certainly don't want to jump straight from your single node system to the mother of all redundant clustered systems in one step, i've broken this down into 5 incremental steps, each one building on the last. each step along the way is a perfectly viable deployment.

Exposing a WCF Service With Multiple Bindings and Endpoints

Windows Communication Foundation (henceforth abbreviated as WCF) supports multiple bindings that allows developers to expose their services in a variety of ways. What this means is a developer can create a service once and then expose it to support net.tcp:// or http:// and various versions of http:// (Soap1.1, Soap1.2, WS*, JSON, etc). This can be useful if a service crosses boundaries between intranet and extranet applications for example. This article walks through the steps to configure a service to support multiple bindings with Visual Studio 2008 and the .Net 3.5 framework. For those that want to jump directly to the sample solution it can be found at the end of this article.

Thomas Raschke - wire frames

We’ve all seen what 3D render artists go through designing a graphic on the computer. With all of the wire framing and pixel by pixel intricacy, it seems like a job that’s heavily focused on a close eye. Most of us don’t have an eye for such detail, but at least we can look like we do.

These amazingly designed sets of furniture appear to be 3D wire frame models, but are actual pieces of decor that look amazing pictured in a white room. Designer Thomas Raschke also has designed other household decor and objects with this method.
The final product is truly breath taking in its simplicity. If there was such thing as complex minimalism, this would be it. More pics after the jump.
