VertexDB is a high performance graph database server that supports automatic garbage collection. It uses the HTTP protocol for requests and JSON for it's response data format and the API is inspired by the FUSE filesystem API plus a few extra methods for queries and queues. It's implementation is currently built on top of TokyoCabinet and libevent.

Réalisé par les journalistes David Dufresne et Philippe Brault, ce docu multimédia nous entraîne dans les couloirs d'un complexe carcéral du Colorado constitué de 13 prisons, dont Supermax. A la clé, un budget de 200 000 €... et donc similaire à celui d'un docu télé classique. Un site trailer (ici, donc) et une bande-annonce en présentent déjà un avant-goût.
The Photos application is one of Facebook’s most popular features. Up to date, users have uploaded over 15 billion photos which makes Facebook the biggest photo sharing website. For each uploaded photo, Facebook generates and stores four images of different sizes, which translates to a total of 60 billion images and 1.5PB of storage. The current growth rate is 220 million new photos per week, which translates to 25TB of additional storage consumed weekly. At the peak there are 550,000 images served per second. These numbers pose a significant challenge for the Facebook photo storage infrastructure.

BTW, Just a small rant... The Notes back end is way better than exchange. We were running 2000 users on One domino server with no issues. We have invested in 10 servers for outlook and over a mil in emc consulting. Personally I’m dumfounded at the decision to switch.
